GRAY: Watha Ward Worsham, 86, of Cedarwood Road, died Saturday, June 2, 2018, at a local nursing home. Memorial services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, June 9, 2018, in the sanctuary of Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron McDaniel officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. Worsham was born February 5, 1932, in Walnut Grove, Alabama and had lived in the middle Georgia area most of her life. She was the daughter of the late William Isaac Ward and Jessie Ingram Ward. Mrs Worsham was raised in the Appleton Children's Home in Macon and was a retired line inspector for Tom's Foods. She was a member of Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her first husband: Bob Dumas; second husband: David Worsham, Jr; sons: Richard Dumas, Robin Dumas and Greg Dumas; sisters: Imogene, Mabel and Mary and by a brother: Donald.
Mrs. Worsham is survived by her son: Dana Dumas, sister-in-law: Betty Ward; grandchildren: Kim Stack, Stephanie Miles and Philip Dumas; six great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
